This institution was established in loving remembrance of Late Shri Chandrapal Singh Raghav, a man who firmly believed in improving and transforming the education system. He was a generous and thoughtful personality, always eager to share his knowledge and continuously learn from every experience.
On 24 February 2006, at the age of 58, he passed away, leaving behind a vision that deserved to be carried forward. To keep his dream alive, the Shri Chandra Pal Singh Educational and Welfare Society, Sikandra Rao, was established in 2007.
Today, this Girls Degree College stands as a heartfelt tribute to Late Shri Chandra Pal Singh Raghav, whose progressive vision and deep respect for education continue to inspire our purpose. He believed that empowered, educated young women shape stronger families, communities & nations.
To honor his values and preserve his legacy, the Shri CPS Girls Degree College, Sikandra Rao was established as a symbol of his commitment to learning, equality, and social upliftment.
Today, this institution carries forward his dream by creating a safe, inspiring, and opportunity-rich environment where every girl can learn, grow, and confidently build her future. His guiding spirit remains at the heart of our mission.
